All hail the ale (and cider too, actually) for the blazing, glorious return of Brandon Hill Beer Festival at The Three Tuns in Bristol, which will see the drinks merrily flowing from Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th April 2019.

Available across the three days will be a palate-wettening panoply of more than 20 casks, 10 kegs, 10 ciders and a massive selection of bottles, all spread across the venue's two bars.

The festival kicks off on Thursday 4th April, with sessions from 12pm until 4pm then 8pm until 10.30pm. You can grab a beer flight (that'll be glass to the average punter, then) for £4. Tunes will be provided by Bristol Blues Jam for this special launch night.

On to Friday 5th then, with two sessions from 12pm until 2pm, then 8pm until 10.30pm. Music this time courtesy of the fantastic Lewis Creaven Band with its fabulous, catchy mix of funk, rock 'n roll and blues. But wait, there's more as it doesn't quite stop at 10.30pm; the pub's been granted a late licence until 2am, so if you didn't stagger your way in then you certainly will on your way out.

Saturday 6th sees drinking enjoyment from 12pm until 4pm, with things kicking off again witlive music from awesome folk duo FFTP at 8pm and that terrific late license ensuring music and quaffing festivities continue well into the early hours until 2am.

Sunday 7th - the final fabulous festival day will see an ongoing session from 12pm until 11pm. There will also be a very generous 10% discount for those who work in the trade. Tunes this time kick off at 7pm from Magic Malka and Northern Soul Party.

That just about does it then, and if your liver's not begging desperately for mercy by the end of all that then you're certainly made of sturdy, formidable stuff. The full beer line-up will be announced soon. Tickets are free and you can find out more about the Brandon Hill Beer Festival and that friendly, cosy ale emporium The Three Tuns here.
