Mayhem, merriment, festival vibes and good times will, naturally, be the order of the evening with a night positively bulging and prodigiously brimming with great tunes and a party atmosphere of fun and revelry like no other.

On the sonic roster will be plenty of swing, gypsy, hip hop, reggae and rumba for a tantalizing taster of the kind of thing you can expect at the actual Scallywag Party later in the year. The pub will also get a makeover with a kaleidoscopic cornucopia of festival decor, and there will be special ticket offers up for grabs too.

It might be March but that doesn't mean you can't look forward to the summer in true, Golden Lion, Scallywag style. The Scallywag Party 2019 Festival proper takes place between 14th and 16th June, a mini festival near Bath. For the full skinny have a mosey here.

The Scallywag Party 2019 festival warm-up night will run from 8pm until 11.45pm. Tickets cost £5 from 8pm on the door.  To keep up to date with the venue's live music listings, monthly art exhibitions and food and drink menus head here.
