Get ready for Submerge: Bristol International Digital Arts Festival - a bold, creative, diverse plethora of shows, talks, installations and nights taking place at a host of venues across Bristol from Friday 1st to Sunday 10th March 2019.

Submerge Bristol Digital Arts Festival

Featuring a talented mix of musicians and artists working across disciplines such as electronic music, digital arts and live performance, the theme of this year's festival is Belonging which, with recent times plagued with doubt, uncertainty and conflict, is wholly appropo with its concept of bringing people and communities together.

The arts can, of course, do that and then some, uniting everyone through an emotional, dynamic panoply of emotive, visceral, thought-provoking experiences that can make people forget about their differences and come together to be part of something bigger.

It's an exciting programme with an ethos of dipping your toe into the creative waters to experience as much or as little as you want. Explore the unknown, experience the previously unexperienced, open yourself up to new creative ideas and possibilites.

Shows and ticketed performances will take place at the city's galleries, underground art spaces and theatres; late night events and parties at clubs and bars fusing DJs, AV shows, live performances and digital arts; talks, presentations, meetings, artist interviews and demos; and a raft of immersive, drop-in exhibitions and installations.

Creative, inspiring, outside the box, unorthodox, fresh and exciting - just the kind of thing Bristol does best, then. For a full programme of venues, dates, times and prices, head here. Submerge: Bristol International Digital Arts Festival takes place at various venues across Bristol
