Beer Festival at Balloon Bar from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th January 2019
Posted on: 16 Jan 2019In Bristol, it doesn't take much to lure folk to the delicious, hoppy promise of a satisfying craft ale - and gloriously eschewing any erroneous notion of Dry January (erm, we think not), Balloon Bar in Bristol will be hailing the ale with its very own Beer Festival from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th January 2019.
Details of the beers (and ciders, for that matter) on offer are sketchy at the moment, but surely it will include the fine libations of specialty beer brewing alchemists such as Wiper & True, Arbor Ales, Bristol Beer Factory and Moor Beer Company.
Yep, it's a student union but is actually a lot more than that with a regular weekly roster of events, quizzes and live music nights to keep the whole smorgasbord of Brizzle babbers entertained. There's also a good range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as a wide selection of coffees and pastries.
Winding down after those exams or just in need of a pint or three to drown out those January blues? The choice is yours and this particular Beer Festival - which runs from 12pm to 11pm across all three days - seems the perfect way to do it.
