What The Folk at The Golden Guinea in Bristol

Proudly proclaiming itself to be 'Bristol's best backstreet boozer' - a description that's hard to contest - The Golden Guinea underwent an extensive refurb in 2010 and is now one of the city's best-loved drinking establishments.

Tucked away from the nearby picturesque waterside in Redcliffe, it's a cosy, unpretentious and frequently buzzing boozer with wooden floors and plenty of cool urban art adorning the walls. A range of events take place on most nights of the week and there's a free-of-charge function room with a door decorated by none other than the legendary, local graffiti and street artist, Cheo.
