The Bristol’s Museum will play host to the world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. The exhibition will open from 29th November- 22nd February 2015.

Celebrating its 50th year of capturing some of the world’s most incredible natural events, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition brings the beauty, majesty and splendour of the natural world right up close in its home on the floating harbour.

Owned by both the BBC and the Natural History Museum, this touring exhibition compromises of hundreds of images, carefully selected by a panel of discerning judges. The photographs can come from amateur and professional photographers, selected for their creativity, technical complexity and artistic merit.

Chair of the panel, Jim Brandenburg, says: ‘These talented photographers have made capturing wildlife on camera a true art form. They have given us a rare glimpse into moments in nature and places on our Earth that are constantly changing but, through their photographs, can be enjoyed by future generations. I am honoured to be a part of such an important competition.’
