Posted on: 24 May 2019The skies of Weston will be filled with soaring sights and awe-inspiring aerobatics when its Air Festival returns over the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019.
Back for another eye-popping, aaahhh-inducing two days of entertainment both in the sky and on the ground, it'll all take place on Weston-super-Mare Seafront and Beach Lawns.
As always, the emblematic and legendary Red Arrows will be whooshing through the skies with its brand new display which, for a few minutes, will divert folks' attention from their candy floss and chips for an airborne extravaganza that has to be seen to be believed. We're lucky too, as there are only a handful of displays taking place across the country this year.
From sky-borne stunts to planting your feet more firmly on the ground, there will be plenty of activities and events on good ol' terra firma to keep the whole family busy. From fairgrounds, exhibition stands, food stalls and the chance to meet RAF crews - plus incorporating the region's celebration of Armed Forces Day - it's one of the most talked about and highly anticipated events of the year and never disappoints.
Further details will be announced over the coming weeks, but its heady mix of sky-based spectacle, fun and immersive entertainment, all on one of the most iconic stretches of seafront in, not just the region but the whole of the UK, means everyone's absolutely in for another weekend treat.
