Wesport take over the Ping Pong Parlour at The Galleries Bristol in aid of Sport Relief

Posted on: 19 Mar 2018

The Galleries is pleased to announce that on Tuesday 20th March, The West of England Sport Trust (Wesport) will be taking over the Ping Pong Parlour at the centre to raise money for Sport Relief.

Wesport will be running a fun-filled day of Ping Pong, and the public are invited to come along and have a go at one of the challenges, which include going head-to-head with a robot! They have some great prizes up for grabs including a photoshoot with Black Iris Photography Studio.

Wesport is encouraging you to bring along your work colleagues, friends and family, to help raise money for Sport Relief by making a small donation to join in the fun.

The Wesport team will be on-hand all day to challenge you to a game, or even just have a chat! If you are at The Galleries to shop, why not take a break and come and visit the parlour. You can drop in any time between 10am and 6pm, on Tuesday 20th March.

The Parlour can be found on the 1st floor, next to Destination skin. It promises to be an exciting attraction for the community, with the opportunity for loads of people to get involved. Attend alone to meet a random competitor, or come as a group of friends or with the family.

Wesport is a sporting charity, passionate about helping people become more physically active, and they encourage people to enjoy the benefits that an active lifestyle can bring.

Colin Lang, Centre Manager, The Galleries says, “We’re thrilled to welcome Wesport to the Ping Pong Parlour. It’s a fun way for the public to come together and raise money so please spread the word and help Wesport raise as much money as they can for Sport Relief!”
