Posted on: 04 Apr 2017

The historic tunnels of Bristol’s Loco Klub will host two performances of Underground Classical on Sunday 21 May. Beethoven, Dvorak and Mussorgsky will all feature in these uniquely stunning events.

The old ash pit tunnels under Temple Meads Station now taken over by the Invisible Circus. Underground Classical is an atmospheric exploration of a bewildering acoustic growing from solo instruments to the raw power of a full symphony orchestra.

Taking Bristol’s classical music scene by storm, Insight Ensemble is sharing a love of classical music with wider audiences by breaking out of the traditional concert halls into unexpected venues, creating immersive performances that engage and inspire.

Guest conductor Jonathan James will lead the orchestra through a dramatic programme featuring Dvorak, Beethoven and Mussorgsky. There will also be dance and circus performance courtesy of The Invisible Circus.

The two performances begin at 4pm and 7pm and tickets are £12. Children aged 6 to 18 are welcome at the 4pm performance and their tickets will be £6. Please click here to purchase tickets.
