Tree gazing along the Promenade on The Downs on Saturday 30th September 2017

Posted on: 26 Sep 2017

The Promenade on The Downs in Bristol is unarguably one of the most beautiful and picturesque parts of the city, and budding arborists will have the chance to participate in some particularly enchanting tree gazing this Saturday 30th September 2017.

Tree expert Tony Titchen will be on expert hand to guide you through a splendid stroll on the Downs before he finally hangs up his hat and retires from all things leafy and tree-like. There will be plenty of opportunity to explore this gorgeous, verdant spot in the area, as well as being able to learn and identify more exotic species studying their bark, twigs and leaves.

The stroll takes place from 2pm-3.30pm and costs £5 - an undeniable weekend treat for the city's budding arboriculturists, if ever there was one.

You can book through Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project at Bristol Zoo on 0117 9030609 or e-mail mleivers@bristolzoo.org.uk
