Tiger Tea Party - Free children's event at Stanfords in Bristol on Saturday 27 August 2016

Posted on: 23 Aug 2016

Youngsters in Bristol will be able to celebrate the marvelous and much-loved children's classic book The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Stanfords book store in Bristol on Saturday 27 August 2016.

The short story - written and illustrated by Judith Kerr - was first published in 1968 and is about a girl called Sophie and her mum who are enjoying their afternoon tea only to find it interrupted by an anthropomorphised tiger.

It's a beautifully told and illustrated tale that has become one of the most endeared children's stories of all time and, it's safe to say, a classic.

Stanfords will be putting lots of fun activities for the kids including colouring in, face painting, and some delicious party treats. This free event takes place between 1pm and 3pm and is unquestionably one the whole family will enjoy.
