The Streets and OMD announced for Bristol Sounds 2026
Posted on: 09 Oct 2025Bristol Sounds is back for 2026 and it’s coming in loud. The much-loved open-air series returns to the city's iconic Harbourside next summer with unforgettable live music towards the end of June. Tickets for Bristol Sounds are to go on general sale on Friday 17 October at bristolsounds.co.uk.
The first wave of headliners has landed with Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) and The Streets being the first major acts confirmed for the 2026 edition, with more still to come.
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark will headline Friday 26 June, bringing a hit-stacked, high-energy synth-pop masterclass to the Amphitheatre. With over 40 million records sold worldwide, OMD helped shape the sound of the eighties through albums like Organisation, Architecture & Morality and Dazzle Ships, with singles including Enola Gay, Souvenir and US breakthrough If You Leave. Fresh off their biggest ever UK tour and 2023’s politically-charged LP Bauhaus Staircase, the duo’s Harbourside performance promises a dancefloor-worthy celebration of four decades of electronic innovation.
