The Gloucester Old Spot in Bristol Announce Excellent New Menus
Posted on: 30 Mar 2016The independent, family run pub has announced some terrific new menus serving delicious locally sourced food and a wide selection of drinks from 9am-3pm and 5pm-9pm Monday to Saturday before a Sunday roast is served 12pm-6pm to round off the week.
On the menu you will be spoilt for choice with nibbles, sharing platters, salads, burgers, lots of mains including our favourite Gloucester Old Spot sausages with creamy mash, savoy cabbage and red onion jus. You should also look out for their Skipper’s Catch of the Day – a daily fish special that will change depending on the catch of a local fisherman! Every egg used from breakfast to dessert is free range and all meats come from the incredible and rightly famous Ruby and White butchers.
The huge breakfast menu is packed with traditional and modern favourites along with the ‘Eggsquisite range’ centred around...well, you can probably guess. The main menu will take you some time to work your way through and make a decision – the perfect excuse to sip on one of their excellent selection of drinks. You should try your very best to save room for dessert as there’s a whole new summer dessert menu, with each of the options being made in-house and using free-range eggs. Do you go for the Peach Melba crème brulee, the chocolate brownie with clotted cream ice cream or one of the others? What a great problem to have!
The Gloucester Old Spot prides itself on being family-friendly and they have an exciting new kids’ menu for the younger diners in your party. Breakfasts, mains and desserts are all covered so you can bring the little ones along any time of day.

Amy Devenish took charge in September 2014 and has transformed the venue into a family friendly venue with perhaps the best pub garden we have come across in Bristol. There's board games for the kids, colouring books, toys and it's also dog friendly too! We’re big fans of this pub and restaurant here at 365 Bristol and were lucky enough to review their previous menu back in August 2015. It breezed its way to a full 5 stars! You can view that review here.
