The cast of the Disney’s Aladdin stage show will be performing at Bristol Pride 2024!

It has today been announced that the cast of Disney’s Aladdin – which runs at The Bristol Hippodrome this summer – will be taking to the mainstage at Bristol Pride.

 

Bristol Pride Day will take place at The Downs on Saturday 13 July 2024.

 

From the producers that brought to life The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Frozen, comes a spectacular musical production of Aladdin. Revellers at this year’s Bristol Pride will be treated to a performance of acclaimed numbers ‘Proud of Your Boy’ and ‘Friend Like Me’ among a whole heap of exciting entertainment!

Always a unique and buzzing showcase of Bristol’s wonderfully diverse LGBT+ community, Pride is about overcoming prejudice, hatred, reducing isolation and showing members of the community that they are not alone.

 

The main Saturday event taking place on Saturday 13 July with this year headlined by legendary band The Human League alongside a full programme of incredible acts including electronic duo Ladytron, Claire Richards of STEPS and indie pop sensation Georgia, all playing the main stage.

 

Joining these exciting acts onstage will be the cast of Disney’s Aladdin (which runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from Wednesday 10 July – Sunday 11 August 2024), including Gavin Adams (Aladdin), Yeukayi Ushe (Genie) and Desmonda Cathabel (Jasmine) who will be performing a couple of numbers from the show.

 

Disney’s Aladdin is an extraordinary theatrical phenomenon that has captured the hearts of over 14 million people worldwide. Based on the 1992 animated film, you can be sure that this show is filled with magic, comedy breath-taking sets and dazzling costumes as well as smash hits like ‘A Whole New World’.
