The Antics Joke Show at Cafe Kino on Saturday 26th May 2018

Chortle your way through a Bank Hol weekend blowout of Bristol-based improv and sketches with The Antics Joke Show at Cafe Kino in Bristol on Saturday 26th May 2018.

Past events have proven phenomenally popular (so much, in fact, they've consecutively sold out - a good enough testament to their enduring popularity and brilliance, methinks), and this gig will showcase the usual combo of witty, spontaneous improv and sketch-based savvy.

What's Your Flavour? will throw some serious improv shapes with a new format known as The Eventé. Formed and based in this glorious city, the troupe were an offshoot of the University of Bristol's Improv Society and are regular, popular fixtures on the Bristol and Bath circuit.

Sketches will come thick and fast thanks to the giddying, inventive delights of Up The Antics, another Brizzle-based collective made up of "miscreants, vagabonds and purveyors of sketch comedy." This time, they'll be injecting some fresh-blood new material in amongst the old, barmy favourties.

Melbourne-born, London-based comedian Sarah Bennetto will be recounting guffaw-inducing observations and sharp-as-a-tack character-infused stand-up. She's cut her teeth on BBC radio, her Mix-Tape sessions of Dalston's NTS Radio, and she's a regular cult backstage favourite at Glastonbury Festival.

All of this madcap improv, comedy and mirth will be presided over by MC Luke Mallison, himself a popular stand-up since 2012 who has supported the likes of Russell Howard, Nathan Caton and Tom Craine.

Tickets for this wacky weekend chuckle-fest cost £5 and can be snapped up here.
