Posted on: 18 Feb 2015Swedish rapper Yung Lean and his Sad Boys crew will be performing at The Colston Hall in Bristol on the 21st February.
18 year old Yung Lean gained a huge public following when his 2013 music video ‘Ginseng Strip 2002’ went viral with over 2 million hits on YouTube. That year, two releases surfaced – ‘Lavender’ and ‘Unknown Death 2002’. The popularity that exploded after these releases saw Yung Lean and Sad Boys touring all over Europe and North America.
Yung Lean’s music is a complex dynamic that revolves around the universe of pop-culture into which he was born. Digimon, Space Jam, Nintendo64, Pokémon; working in rap’s freeform tradition, a flowing, asymmetrical and multi-coloured creativity where wrong might as well be right.
His show at the Colston Hall will take place on Saturday 21 February 2015, where he will be accompanied by his Sad Boys crew. Tickets are available online here priced £16.13 which includes the booking fee.
