Sunday lunch at The Crown in the heart of Bristol's Old City

Posted on: 28 Oct 2016

After the Halloween festivities you'll need a good feed on Sunday! Why not head back to the scene of your crimes and enjoy a great roast dinner at The Crown in Bristol's Old City.

After their two excellent Halloween events on both Friday and Saturday, The Crown will be offering a great Sunday lunch that is surely one of the best value option in the whole city. It is available every week, but this Sunday you might be in need of it more than other weeks thanks to the adverse effects of the previous two days.

Occupying the same site since 1741, The Crown is a real ale pub and cider house with an edge. This superb venue blends the traditional with the alternative to create one of Bristol’s must-visit locations. Whether you’re looking for drinks, food or great music, you’ll find it at The Crown. Sports are also taken care of by 8 screens showing Sky Sports and BT Sport.

The Sunday roasts are only £6.95. You can choose from a range of meats or nut roast and all are served with the classic accompaniments you would expect. You can also double up your meat for £2 and enjoy two options.

Set in the heart of the Old City, The Crown welcomes everyone with a smile and some of the best drinks around. As proud holders of a Cask Marque accreditation, The Crown pride themselves on their ever changing and expertly selected range of craft and real ales. They have great links to local breweries and those further afield so you can be sure of a great selection whenever you enter.

Traditional cider also features heavily on the drinks list and again with a focus on ‘local’. Guest ciders from some of the West’s very best producers rotate while favourites like Thatchers, Sheppy's, Worleys and even one from St Paul’s right here in Bristol occupy the more permanent pumps.
