These secluded conservation areas are not usually open to the public, but for one day there will be pond-dipping in the nature reserve and many interactive talks and activities to teach children and adults about this country’s amazing animals.

There is also a perfect Father’s Day celebration on the 20th June, why not treat your dad to a visit to one of the best zoo farms in the South West? Ticket prices will be frozen at £5 for the day, with vouchers available from the website. You could even win a keeper experience for your dad!

Reptile Fortnight takes place from the 27th of July to the 8th August and celebrates the 10th anniversary of this two week reptilian festival. During this time there will be twice daily venomous snake shows in the Ark Arena, and a chance to meet a variety of non-venomous reptiles after the show. For a small fee you could also get your photo taken with an impressive reptilian friend!

The park will be open as usual on all these days, with a cafe and huge children's play area, an array of animals, and a petting zoo.
