St Nick's Christmas Market from Sunday 19th November - Sunday 24th December 2017

Posted on: 17 Nov 2017

What with it being the most wonderful time of the year and all that malarkey, it can only mean the arrival of one thing - St Nick's Christmas Market, which sets up its stalls and runs from the very merry period of Sunday 19th November to Sunday 24th December 2017.

The Indoor Market will see its usual, giddying panoply of over 60 independent retailers selling their wares which range from quirky gifts to inspiring fashion, to artisan, hand-crafted accessories and, of course, a veritable smorgasbord of yummy food to chomp on. It will be open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm; Saturday 9.30am to 6pm; Sunday, 10am to 5pm; and Christmas Eve from 10am to 3pm (and if you haven't got your Crimbo prezzies by then you'd really better get your skates on).

Alfresco market shenanigans will, of course, also be taking place during the same bauble-dangling, tinsel-waving period, hosting as it invariably does a splendid array of artisan gifts, food and drink that give a much-needed and inspiring, international spin on the traditional festive turkey and sprouts combo.

And if you're on the look out for seasonal ingredients and gastronomy served by some of the finest local suppliers in the region, don't forget the Bristol Farmers' Market, which will be tantalizing passers-by with its stomach-rumblingly splendid mix of top, tasty produce every Wednesday from 6th-20th December from 8am to 2.30pm.

Food, drink, and an abundance of prezzie ideas all situated in the enchanting, historical environs of the Old City, if the St Nick's Christmas Market doesn't fire up your festive spirit then nothing will.
