St George’s Road Spring Beer Festival at Bag of Nails in Bristol

Posted on: 03 Apr 2018

It is that time of year once again, spring is in the air, the days are getting longer and the sun is finally beginning to grace us with its presence.

To celebrate, Bag of Nails, The Lime Kiln and The Three Tuns in Bristol are hosting the St George’s Road Spring Beer Festival, commencing on Friday 13th April from noon until 11pm on Sunday 15th April.

There will be a wide selection of over 100 craft ales, kegs, ciders, and bottles hand-picked by their staff, so come along, have a chat and try some exciting new drinks. With live music and entertainment throughout the weekend and bars both indoors and outdoors, it promises to be a fantastic few days.

The Bag of Nails in Bristol is best known for its' 15 four-legged lodgers that chose the pub as a permanent residency after it was reopened in 2011. The pub sits inside a small terraced free house that dates back to 1860 and serves up to ten changing cask ales from local and further afield micro-breweries. The pub is a favourite amongst both the locals and the city’s newer inhabitants, who flock to sit inside its cosy interior with the company of a good pint and a furry cuddle.

The Lime Kiln is also a small public house which prides itself on its real and honest reputation. With a jukebox, a roaring fire and a unique selection of craft ciders, beers and ales on offer, it is the perfect hideaway to enjoy a pint.

The Three Tuns is a city-centre award winning, real ale and world-wide craft beer pub that has a street-food style menu provided by My Mates BBQ. The chefs create the best burgers, pulled pork and home-made snacks in town! The pub has many traditional features with a large outdoor heated terrace that is covered from rain, weekly live Irish music, magic shows and outstanding seasonal beer festivals.
