The organisers have expertly curated a powerhouse lineup of European techno royalty for what is set to be a colossal day party with high energy selections from start to finish. The lineup includes big names from the European techno circuit, including Kobosil, Funk Tribu, Daria Kolosova, Patrick Mason and The Muffin Man as well as The SPEKTRA collective’s own emerging artists. With all of these names being headliner worthy, this is surely the finest Techno event we’ve seen in Bristol to date, indicating how much the genre has increased in popularity recently in the South-West.

The Artists

Kobosil – A Berlin-based techno DJ and producer associated with the Berghain scene, known for his hard, industrial sound and releases on the R Label Group imprint. He’s widely respected for intense, high-BPM sets that push the darker edge of techno. Personally, having seen Kobosil perform at Teletech festival 2023, it is easy to get lost if the raw energy of his tunes, but his mixing ability is not to be slept on and he is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

Daria Kolosova – A Ukrainian DJ who has risen rapidly on the European circuit, blending fast-paced techno with electro and rave influences. She’s known for incredibly diverse, high-energy sets and was one of the best performers at Junction 2 festival last year, playing B2B with Kettama and Dr Rubinstein.

Funk Tribu – Funk Tribu delivers groove-heavy techno with trance and hard dance elements, gaining traction for his melodic and uplifting productions that still pack a bass heavy punch. He has been on the rise since his fantastic performance at Awakenings Festival last summer.

Patrick Mason – A Berlin-based DJ, performer, and fashion figure celebrated for his charismatic stage presence and genre-blending sets that mix techno with house and performance art energy. Patrick drives the energy from the front line and it’s difficult not to have a smile on your face for one of their sets.

The Muffin Man – A UK underground and East London based DJ tied to the SPEKTRA collective, known for fast, rave-inspired selections that complement the harder techno aesthetic of the lineup. She has been building her reputation through appearances at key underground venues across Europe, including respected clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam and London that are known for pushing cutting-edge techno.

This Sunday bank holiday is set to be one to remember, so if you are yet to get tickets, be sure to do so before it is too late.
