Silk Road pop-up kitchen is in residence at The Volunteer Tavern for the next few weeks...and it's just about one one of Bristol's best pubs. The food is exceptional and the beers are beyond beautiful. Next to Cabot Circus, it's a favourite for post-work beers and weary shoppers alike.

The Volunteer Tavern is the epitomy of 'Thinking and Acting Local'. You will find the walls adorned with work from the Bristol artist Laura Cramer, their meat is supplied from the region including sausages from JD Brittans, the oldest independent pork butchers in Bristol and are always pulling pints from local Real Ales brewers such as Wiper and True, Wickwar Brewery, Arbor Ales and the Bristol Beer Factory amongst many more.

A cosy pub with a large garden enclosed by Grade II listed walls and dappled shade from overhanging London Plane trees it is a great venue to pop in for a pint, glass of wine or for a wonderful meal from an extensive menu. From contemporary vegan food to traditional pub classics and Sunday Roasts they match their fine wines and rotating real ales to complement your meal spiffingly.
