Santa Lands at Wookey Hole
Posted on: 26 Nov 2015Our favourite bearded present-giver will be taking time out of his busy schedule to set up residence at Wookey Hole near Bristol from now until the New Year. Santa and his helpers have been busy transforming an entire cave for us!
With over 100,000 Christmas lights, the scene could not be more set for a wonderful experience at the famous Wookey Hole site, just south of Bristol. Buried deep beneath the Mendip Hills, Father Christmas has found himself a great little spot to call home during the day before heading back up north for his evening duties at his workshop.
His helpers at the popular South West attraction say the magnificent Magical Kingdom, which has been created in the recently opened cave Chamber 20 is unlike any other Christmas wonderland children will see this year. The remarkable combination of the natural beauty of the cavern beneath the hills, along with the added sparkle which Wookey is famed for, has added fuel children’s imaginations and makes Wookey Hole the place to be this Christmas.
A highlight for families will be the 4D festive adventure ‘Sleigh Ride’ which will be showing in the interactive 4D cinema and is also included in the ticket price set at just £15.
