Posted on: 24 Jan 2017

Registration is now open for artists who wish to participate in 2017’s Southbank Bristol Arts Trail. Those wanting to register, or find out more about past trails, can do so at www.southbankbristolarts.co.uk

This year's Southbank Bristol Arts Trail will take place on the 13th and 14th May, in and around Southville, Aston and Bedminster.

2016’s trail featured over 60 different locations (everywhere from professional theatre spaces to shops to houses) showcasing the best in local art, music, theatre and workshops. Amongst the activities on offer were stained glass window making, weaving, a ‘Carnival’ photo booth, creating characters from cardboard boxes for a parade, interactive textile art, an action songs workshop, instrument making, stories and improv comedy, and a West African drumming workshop.

In addition to this, local artists displayed their work at a craft market at the Tobacco Factory, and in their studios, workshops and homes.

As the longest running Art Trail in Bristol, the Southbank Bristol Arts Trail is set to be bigger and better than ever.
