Rad Not Sad Fest 3.0 at The Exchange in Bristol on 20th September 2015
Posted on: 06 Jul 2015Rad Not Sad Fest 3.0 will take place on the 20th September 2015 at The Exchange in Bristol.
Rad Not Sad Fest has been the staple DIY punk and metal festival in Bristol for some time now. Three years to be exact. Each year brings bigger, better, and DIY-er things despite that not being a word. This year’s line up is compromised of the angriest, heaviest bands walking the line between goth, emo and punk. With delicious food, excellent acts, a chill vibe and an extremely inclusive attitude, RNS3.0 is like a mothers meeting for punx.
Full Of Hell are headlining, and describe themselves as ‘probably the heaviest band in the world’.
Next up is Blind Authority, a Rancid-esque lace-up-boots type punk band with no holds barred.
Then Svalbard and TEEF will perform their angry, riffy bizarreness celebrating TEEF’s last EVER show.
Cassus bring emo violence into the equation with their first Bristol show in years, and Venom Prison present their unmistakable death metal sound.
Artefact will also be performing with their dulling goth vibes and black clothes, and the Rad Not Sad house band CADY will perform their distinctive annually present music.
The last two acts, Dawn Ray’s and Swallowing are newish, one angry and one essentially Swans with ‘hissing choir worship’.
Tickets for the evening cost £10, and doors open at 4pm. Food will be available from The Mighty Food Fight who will be serving vegan lunches and donuts from outside the venue. Buy your tickets from the Exchange website.
