Plan B announces Colston Hall show as part of 2018 UK tour
Posted on: 16 Nov 2017Fans of Ben Drew, better known as Plan B, have had to wait almost six years since the last time the acclaimed artist released an album and five since he last went on tour. Good news, then, as he announces a 2018 tour with a stop-off at Bristol's Colston Hall in May.
***Tickets on sale HERE from 9am on Friday 17th November 2017***
You'd have to go back to 2012 to recall the last time Plan B was really in the focus of the UK music scene, as he released Ill Manors - his third studio album - which gained him even more notoriety following the successes of his first two releases.
As well as the album, he wrote and directed a feature film under the same name that year, kickstarting a career in film that features an appearance in 2008's Adulthood and a starring role in the 2012 reboot of The Sweeney alongside Ray Winstone.
Since kicking his career off in 2006 with Who Needs Actions When You Got Words, Plan B has earned five BRIT awards, a Mercury Prize and three Ivor Novello awards for his work in music and film. His upcoming shows will see him perform new material from Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose as well as an array of tracks from his impressive back catalogue.
Tickets for Plan B at Colston Hall can be bought here from 9am on Friday 17th November. For more information on the upcoming tour and for ticket updates, visit Plan B's website. Alternatively, follow updates on his Facebook or Twitter pages.
