Penny Brohn UK Host A Night at the Musicals in Bristol on Saturday 18th November 2017

Posted on: 31 Oct 2017

Penny Brohn UK's latest charity fundraiser sees a cast of local musicians performing your favourite songs from the musicals in A Night at the Musicals at Portishead's Somerset Hall on Saturday 18th November 2018. Tickets for the event are available here.

The event will feature musical classics such as I Dreamed A Dream (Les Miserables), Climb Every Mountain (The Sound of Music) and Tonight (West Side Story) performed by superb Bristolian soprano Rachael Cooper, the internationally-renowned Cheddar Male Choir and Bristol-based poet and musician Martin Kiszko.

Every penny raised on the night will help Penny Brohn continue to reach people facing cancer before, during and after treatment. Based in Pill, the charity's Bristol Whole Life approach supports people with cancer and offers guidance on health and wellbeing and helps those affected by cancer to find the resources to thrive. Penny Brohn also explores areas such as diet, exercise, relationships and managing stress through free courses, one-to-one therapies, group sessions, a Treatment Support Clinic and a national helpline.

Doors open at 7pm on the night, with drinks available at the bar before the show starts at 7.30pm. Adult tickets are priced at £15, while seniors' tickets cost £12 and children £10. Tickets are available here or can be bought over the phone on 01275 370076.
