Origami Bookfolding Workshop at Bookbarn International in Bristol on Saturday 3rd March 2018

Posted on: 01 Mar 2018

The advantages of easy origami are two-fold, as comedy pun-meister Tim Vine so wittily put it: - and this Saturday 3rd March 2018 at Bookbarn International in Bristol you'll be able to have a go at this classic Japanese art form in relation to bookfolding (though presumably minus the funny quips).

**WEATHER UPDATE : PLEASE CALL 01761 451777 TO DOUBLE CHECK IF STILL ON BEFORE YOU TRAVEL THERE!

Local bookfolder Kate Egan will be on hand from 10am to 12.30pm for this workshop for adults which will take you through the basics of origami bookfolding to ending up with your own creative tome-based momento. Quirky and unique, you'll walk away from the session with a folded book of your own which you can either keep or give to friends or family to add as one of the more idiosyncratic additions to their mantelpiece.

Tickets for the Origami Bookfolding Workshop cost £20, which includes all the materials plus a complimentary tea or coffee and a delicious cake from the venue's Full Stop Cafe.

You can reserve your place by emailing bookbarn@bookbarninternational.com or calling 01761 451 777
