Featuring celebrated composer Alan Menken's iconic soundtrack that includes classics like 'Be Our Guest' and 'Beauty and the Beast', the show is a truly unique theatrical experience, and an absolute must-see for any fans of the original Disney film or musicals in general.

The structure and tone of the retelling of the 1700s French fairy tale, as well as the incredible score, made Beauty and the Beast an instant hit upon its 1991 on-screen debut,  the made cinematic history when it became the first animated film ever nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture,

Indeed, Beauty and the Beast once more made Disney history as one of the company's first films to present its narrative in the form of a stage musical when it opened on Broadway in April 1994, eventually earning nine Tony nominations and winning one.

After a stunning 13 consecutive years on stage, the production remains among the top ten longest-running shows in Broadway history. Its West End production, which debuted in 1997, has been performed in front of more than two million people to date.

Running at Bristol Hippodrome for over two months now, the show has proved immensely popular, with fans praising the colourful production's never ending run of show stopping moments.

Back in October, we sent one of our reviewers, Vivienne Kennedy, to check out what all the fuss was about. She had this to say: "Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a delight for all ages, an utterly joyful production that puts a smile on every face, and I don’t hesitate to give it a full five stars."

With such high praise, the last couple of weeks of the show's run (it comes to a close on Saturday 12 November) are sure to prove popular. Buy your ticket here.
