Youngsters in the city will be able to revel in the the joys of the great outdoors when Arnos Vale Cemetery in Bristol holds its Forest Fun: Little Ones Edition on Thursday 23rd August 2018.

Taking place between 10am and 12pm, kids will get the chance to explore the expansive, impressive woodland of the venue in addition to having plenty of fun activities to keep them entertained including splashing around, digging in the mud, painting with natural materials, making special potions, using varius outdoor tools and the opportunity to just get a bit creative in the outdoor environment.

Learning Coordinator Janine Marriott will lead proceedings, and the session is suitable for boys and girls and best recommended for kids between 3 and 7 years old.  Under 8's must have an adult to accompany them through the session.

Chances are you'll build up a bit of an appetite with all these vigorous outdoor shenanigans, so you're more than welcome to bring some lunch and a picnic to enjoy after the activities - and there will be the chance to make damper bread afterwards.

The meeting point is Spielman Centre, although naturally the session's pursuits will take place outdoors in the glorious, expansive verdant splendour of Arnos Vale's grounds itself. Tickets cost £8 and can be snapped up here.
