In Skills Workshops at the Handmade Fair join a variety of experts as they share their knowledge on a range of subjects including papercutting and calligraphy. So from a watercolour cocktail hour hosted by Harriet de Winton or Needlefelt Party Mouse with Steffi Stern there is something to interest all crafters.

At the Super Theatre you’ll join experts as they share their knowledge and offer tricks and tips. Jim Parkyn of Bristol’s own Aardman Animations studios will be sharing his experience as Senior Model Makers at the studios. There will be demonstrations from Sarah Raven on flower arranging and growing your own and also from Annie Sloane in interactive session on the chalk paint she created.  Every day there will be a Mollie Makes Mash Up pitting two creatives against the clock to come up with the winning cushion cover, tee-shirt or basket bag.

Alongside other crafters join in for a 30 minute Grand Makes creative session. There will be an opportunity to create origami trinket boxes - a skill that means you’ll never be without a gift box again! Or maybe you’d prefer Tassel and Bead Keyring, a Wooden Flower Pot Keepsake or taking some time out to block print a napkin?

Don’t miss The Shopping Village where you can buy everything from materials to completed handmade items. With a broad range of products available including wool from Cotswold sheep and gin from Cambridge, there is something for everyone. Get your creativity flowing in the Creative Corner at the Handmade Fair with workshops that can be booked on the day from just £15. Including Umbrella Rain Jugs, wooden flag bunting and scented candle making.

Tickets start from just £12 for adults and £10 for children. Full Experience tickets to include access to the Skills Workshops, Super Theatre and Grand Makes activities are £29 for adults. For £90 you can enjoy the full VIP experience with free-flowing bubbly from noon, free tea and coffee all day plus a Q&A lunch with the days host. Friday is hosted by Kirstie Allsopp, Saturday by Liz Earle and Sunday by Sarah Raven.
