Kids Acting Classes every Sunday Morning in Bristol with Alma Juniors
Posted on: 28 Dec 2016Alma Juniors are brand new Sunday drama classes at The Alma Tavern Theatre in Clifton, Bristol.
Launching on Sunday 15th January 2017, the first season will run until 19th March and are for kids aged between 4 and 14 years old, with classes split into varied age groups. Drama is a fantastic way to encourage your children’s imagination and creativity and help them with learning new skills, building confidence and developing social interaction in a fun and supportive environment.
Sessions for the youngest students will range from working with well-loved characters, which the children will be able to develop in performance, to creating new work based on their own imaginations.
For the older children we will begin to look at drama skills such as mime, voice projection and clarity as well as performance basics such as expression, use of physicality, space and audience interaction.
The classes take place every Sunday upstairs in the Alma Theatre – the perfect place to show them the ropes! Times and fees per session are detailed below:
AGE 4 TO 7 FROM 10.00AM - 10.35AM - £4.50 PER SESSION
AGE 7 TO 11 FROM 10.40AM - 11.25AM - £5.50 PER SESSION
AGE 11 TO 14 FROM 11.30AM – 12.30PM - £6.50 - PER SESSION
