Kansai Kitchen Take Over The Hope and Anchor's Kitchen

Posted on: 09 Sep 2015

The guys from the excellent Kansai Kitchen will be taking over at The Hope and Anchor from Monday 5 to Saturday 10 October 2015 for one week only! They will will be serving up an authentic Japanese izakaya menu - think of it as Japanese tapas/bar food. Having run pop-up style 'restaurants' around the city, and taken over the kitchens of some of Bristol's favourite places, Kansai Kitchen have built up a fierce reputation for providing not only authentic, but delicious Asian food.

The opportunity to sample this exquisite cuisine won't be around for long sadly - it's only sticking around at The Hope and Anchor for 1 week - from Monday 5 to Saturday 10 October 2015 - so get moving!

The Hope and Anchor in Bristol is an independent pub located between Clifton Triangle and the Harbourside on Jacob's Wells Road, just down from QEH School. A great selection of craft beers are available including local ales from the likes of Arbor Ales, Wiper and True and guest beers too. It's definitely worth mentioning the garden, with 3 tiered levels backing on to Brandon Hill. It is huge and basks in sunshine throughout the day - there are a couple of secluded spots if you feel the need for some shade.

The Hope and Anchor is located at: 38 Jacob's Wells Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 1DR.
