Learn about the history of social justice and civil rights with Journey to Justice, an exhibition which is being held at Bristol Cathedral from Tuesday 3rd to Saturday 28th October 2017.

The event is a multi-media installation which primarily focuses on the US civil rights movement, as well as uncovering the stories of its musical heritage and some truly miraculous and inspiring stories by the men, women and children brought up during this particularly volatile period of American history.

Plenty of pivotal moments from Bristol's rich history of activism are also incorporated into the exhibition, including the key and culture-defining 1963 Bristol Bus Boycott.

There will also be a diverse and rich programme throughout the exhibition which will include guided tours, talks, and family craft workshops exploring Bristol's own role in promoting social justice.

Admission is free and takes place from 9am-4.30pm. For more information about the event, click here.
