Fronted by the ever-charismatic Jim Jones, the All Stars have quickly built a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in the UK. Jones, known for his work with Thee Hypnotics, The Jim Jones Revue, Black Moses, and Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind, leads a powerhouse lineup that blends garage rock, rhythm and blues, and soul into a raw, high-voltage show.
The group features bassist Gavin Jay and keyboardist Elliot Mortimer, both former members of The Jim Jones Revue, alongside guitarist Carlton Mauncher, drummer Aidan Sinclair, and a driving three-baritone sax section made up of Stuart Dace, Chuchi Malapersona, and Tom Hodges.
Their debut album, Ain’t No Peril, released in September 2023, earned rave reviews for its gritty energy and genre-bending style. Critics have praised the band’s live shows as “dangerous,” “soulful,” and “a riot of rock ’n’ roll at its libidinous best.”
The Strange Brew gig promises to deliver just that. Doors open around 7:00pm, with the band expected on stage at 8:00pm. Tickets are priced in the £24.20 including booking fees and are already selling fast - grab yours here.
