Intronauts at Tobacco Factory Theatres from Wednesday 20th until Sunday 31st March 2019

Futuristic fable and sci-fi film homage Intronauts will take to the stage of Tobacco Factory Theatres from Wednesday 20th until Sunday 31st March 2019.

Presented by Bristol-based, award-winning theatre company Green Ginger, the show will take audiences on a cosmically thrilling journey into the human body.
Set in the not-too-distant future, the show posits the idea that people can purchase their own personal cleaners - the titular Intronauts - and have them injected into their bodies to carry out essential inner bodywork and maintenance. But how much do you actually want to know about what goes on inside you?

It's a thrilling, off-kilter production that takes its inspiration from classic sci-fi flicks and uses inventive, innovative use of puppetry and absurd visual comedy. If you're looking for a show that truly gets under your skin, this microscopic journey into the human body explores advancing technology, big syringes and a tiny submarine in a thought-provoking play.

Performances start at 8.15pm on all evenings apart from Monday and Tuesday, with a matinee on Saturday at 1.30pm. Tickets cost £12 and can be purchased here.
