inPlay Golf to reopen in early August

Posted on: 17 Jul 2020

Bristol's leading virtual golf centre will be taking bookings from Wednesday 5 August.

The inPlay Golf team have confirmed that they're set to reopen in early August, following more than three months of closure as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

In accordance with the government's recent announcement regarding the planned reopening of indoor sports facilities up and down the country, inPlay will reopen their HQ on Cathedral Walk on Saturday 8 August.

In order to reopen as smoothly as possible and allow staff to get to grips with new safety measures, inPlay will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout August, with a return to full-time operating hours expected in September.

Located within walking distance of the city centre, inPlay Golf offers you the chance to play rounds and individual holes at some of the world's most prestigious golfing venues, or even receive coaching from in-house pros.

Whether you're new to golf or already have the golfing bug, inPlay Golf offers a relaxed environment for golfers of all abilities to play together, with 5 simulator bays available for hire.

Beginners to primed players can enjoy 195 courses and a range of mini-challenges minutes from the city centre. Not only that, but inPlay’s ‘Team Bay Challenge’ allows mixed ability teams to battle it out with a live leaderboard.

inPlay Golf will be taking bookings from Wednesday 5 August onwards, and will be posting regular updates and more information on their website in the coming weeks.

Confirming the news of their reopening on their social media channels, the team said: "it has been a long four months and although we can’t wait to re-open, we want to make sure that we provide a safe environment for both our customers and staff.

"Please bear with us whilst we work through the government guidelines and put in place a few new procedures."
