Iconic rockers 10cc to play huge gig at the famous Bristol Hippodrome
Posted on: 11 Mar 2019Legendary English rock band 10cc will be hitting the stage of Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday 17th March 2019. The gig will form part of a new 2019 tour that will include shows at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Needless to say, it will cover the gamut of their biggest hits and greatest musical successes, proving their music mettle to legions of old and new fans alike.
Influential, inventive and changing the course of English rock music, their songs have combined that rarity of hitting an emotional, resonant nerve yet achieving considerable commercial success. They've sold over 15 million albums in the UK and racked up eleven Top 10 hits, so their credentials and impact speak for themselves.
Bristol Hippodrome forms part of this year's tour which will also rock out venues in Cardiff, Bournemouth, Manchester, Glasgow and Liverpool, reaching its climactic zenith with a performance at none other than London's Royal Albert Hall.
Some of their most famous hits include Dreadlock Holiday, I'm Not In Love and Rubber Bullets (all, coincidentally, Number 1 singles), while the new generation of rock fans will most likely recognise their songs from the soundtrack to the blockbuster film Guardians of the Galaxy.
They've recently circumnavigated the globe, traversing Japan, New Zealand, Australia and the UK and Europe with their most recent live incarnation of the band, which now features original members Graham Gouldman (bass, guitar, vocals), Rick Fenn (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion), plus Keith Hayman (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals) and Paul Canning (vocals, percussion, guitar, keyboards).
