I am Making Art: Bridget Alexander Pinhole Pictures at Spike Island on Saturday 3 September 2016
Posted on: 01 Sep 2016Get the unique chance to make your own pinhole camera this Saturday 3 September as part of Bridget Alexander's Pinhole Pictures workshop at Spike Island in Bristol.
Held as part of the I am Making Art monthly activity sessions hosted by artists in the Spike Island Cafe, you'll get the opportunity to take a slower, more serene approach to life creating the device, itself a variation on the camera obscura, which is a light-proof box with a small hole on one side that passes light to project an inverted image on the other side of the box.
Bridget Alexander is a Bristol-based analogue photographer currently studying for an MA in Multidisciplinary Printmaking, who also currently works as Spike Island's receptionist.

The I am Making Art sessions encourage people of all ages and abilities to try out all forms of artistic techniques and approaches to art, incorporating the whole gamut of creative disciplines such as painting, drawing, collage, animation and sculpture.
Bridget Alexander's Pinhole Pictures workshop runs from 2pm to 6pm and is free, although booking is recommended.
