Posted on: 13 Jan 2020

It’s nearly time! The Book of Mormon arrives at the Bristol Hippodrome this week.

A Broadway smash-hit, The Book of Mormon is a Tony®, Olivier® and Grammy® award-winning production that follows the hilarious tale of two Mormon boys sent to a place far, far away from their home in Salt Lake City.

Kicking off its run at the Bristol Hippodrome on Tuesday 14 January with a special preview performance, The Book of Mormon will be in Bristol until 22 February 2020.

Limited tickets are still available. Check out the latest availability here.

Missed out on tickets? Or can’t find any that suit you? Never fear.

The Bristol Hippodrome will be releasing a limited number of tickets before each performance of The Book of Mormon via ballot.

Kicking off on 15 January, the Hippodrome will be running a ticket lottery before every performance, in which 15 tickets will be sold at £15.

To be entered into the ballot, visit the Bristol Hippodrome Box Office two and a half hours before each performance. Entries will only be accepted in person.

Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets, each priced at £15.

A now multi-award-winning production, The Book of Mormon first saw the stage in 2011. Since, the production has enjoyed sold-out runs in London, on Broadway and in North America.

But the show's success is of no surprise: written by the creators of South Park, The Book of Mormon has been named one of the "funniest musicals of all time."
