Faeland at Wild Goose Space in Bristol on Saturday 3rd March 2018

Posted on: 01 Mar 2018

Acoustic group Faeland will be playing a special, intimate set this Saturday 3rd March 2018 at Wild Goose Space in the heart of St Werburghs in Bristol.

With musicians performing songs on guitars, vocals, violin, accordion, double bass and harp, this is a talented folk ensemble who cite the not-inconsiderable likes of Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Nick Drake, R.E.M. and Fleetwood Mac as significant influences on their work.

True to their acoustic roots, they'll play using as little amplification as possible to the warm, cosy confines of Wild Goose Space which will only have a 40 seat capacity, so it has all the hallmarks of being one of the most up-close-and-personal gigs of the year.

Throughout the evening there will also be plenty of food and drink to chomp on and keep you well lubricated, which will include raw cakes, raw chocolate, chai, wine and a selection of herbal teas.

Pushing the boundaries of folk with a fresh, authentic sound that's also different from anything you've previously heard and sprinkled with a smattering of poignant beauty and heartfelt vulnerability, Faeland is a group you'll definitely want to keep your eye on.

Doors open at 7.30pm with the music due to start from 8pm. Tickets are £10 advance, £12 on the door with concessions at £8. You can pre-order tickets here.
