Ellie Goulding live at Electric Bristol for album release show on 2 September 2026

Pop superstar Ellie Goulding is heading to Bristol on Wednesday 2 September 2026 for a special album release performance at Electric Bristol, giving fans the chance to see one of the UK's biggest pop artists in an intimate live setting. Goulding will be taking the stage at Electric Bristol as part of a special outstore performance presented by Rough Trade celebrating the release of her new album, ‘I Know Too Much’, released via Polydor.

The Bristol date promises to be a particularly special occasion for fans, with the performance taking place at Electric, the popular Nelson Street venue known for bringing major names and emerging artists into the heart of the city. Unlike Goulding's larger-scale arena appearances, the Electric show offers the opportunity to see the singer-songwriter in a much more intimate environment.

For Goulding fans, the event also arrives at an exciting point in her career. With a catalogue packed with international hits including Lights, Starry Eyed, Burn, Anything Could Happen, Love Me Like You Do and Outside, the new album represents another chapter for an artist who has spent more than a decade at the top of the pop world.

The album release show is expected to focus on Goulding's new material, giving Bristol audiences an early opportunity to hear tracks from I Know Too Much performed live. Electric Bristol confirms that, because this is an album release event, the performance is expected to last around 45 minutes, rather than a full-length headline concert.

The event is also subject to an age restriction of 14+, with under-16s required to attend with an adult. Importantly, general admission tickets do not include a copy of the album, so fans looking to add the new record to their collection will need to purchase it separately.

Goulding's appearance adds another major name to what is already shaping up to be a busy period for live music at Electric Bristol. The venue's September programme includes artists such as Tyler Ballgame, Charlotte Church's End Times Pop Dungeon, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Primal Scream, Feng, Devlin and Goldie Lookin Chain.

For Bristol fans, however, the Ellie Goulding show is likely to be one of the month's standout events. An artist with a string of huge global hits appearing in a relatively intimate venue is a rare proposition, particularly for anyone who has previously experienced Goulding on the much larger stages of her headline tours.
