Downend Round Table are looking for worthy charities after their annual Fireworks event

So, if you’re part of a local organisation or know of a cause making a positive impact on South Gloucestershire, Downend Round Table are inviting you to apply for their charity funding. All kinds of charities are welcome to apply; whether you’re supporting education, healthcare, community development or any other causes close to your heart.

Downend Round Table is a local organisation the serves the community through various charitable events (including their popular fireworks display), social activities and opportunities for personal development – perfect for those looking for something a bit different.
The Downend branch is part of the international Round Table organisation, which has been making a difference in UK communities since its inception in 1927. Local groups consist of members from all walks of life, providing a wide range of activities.
Each year, their firework display dazzles attendees from all over Bristol. Regularly drawing in between 8,000 and 10,000 people, this is always a wonderful chance to wrap yourselves up and take out the whole family to the city’s largest displays. This year was no different, raising over £47,000 for charity and leaving a smile on the face of the people of Bristol.
