Dos Floris at The Crofters Rights on Tuesday 14th November 2017

Singer-songwriter Dos Floris will bring her own distinctive musical sound to Bristol in a special gig at The Crofters Rights on Tuesday 14th November 2017.

Recognised and revered for creating stunningly distinctive sonic soundscapes through a cobination of electronic-acoustic combinations, her talents have been compared to the not-insignificant likes of performers such as Zola, Kate Bush and Bjork.

Unique, emotional and cinematic, Floris' songs have been described in such complimentarily hyperbolic ways as 'the sound of heaven', 'elegant and addictive', and taking the listener on a 'flowing, magical, bewitching journey'. Her debut solo album, The Widowed Earth, was released in October.

Utilizing conventional instruments such as the piano, flute and guitar, and juxtaposing them alongside her voice, a looper and less conventional instruments (a stringed walking stick, anyone?), and what you end up with is a live show unlike any other - an immersive, hypnotic sonic experience with songs covering themes such as escape, love, nature and war.

The gig starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £5.50 and can be purchased here
