Bristol's music lovers can browse to their heart's content through a mesmerizing cornucopia of vinyl and CDs when Colston Hall hosts its Record Fair on Saturday 2nd September 2017.

With the chance highly likely that not everyone will want to be moshing amidst the feverish crowds of The Downs Festival which also takes on the same day, collectors might opt instead to peruse the variety of sonic treasures and listen to their fine purchases in the comfort of their own homes.

Of course, Bristol's oldest established concert hall has previous when it comes to exciting the city's music aficionados with a tantalizing array of wares since holding its inaugural event in 2010. Now spread over four floors, the fair will see the public and traders lured in by the promise of hard-to-find collectors editions and expensive rarities, covering the whole gamut of musical styles and genres.

Some items sell for £1 while others are, well, considerably pricier for the seasoned, serious collecting pro. And whilst the fair will mostly specialise in selling vinyl, there will be a few CD traders proffering those tune-laden shiny discs. Traders from all over the South will be flogging their merchandise, as well as buyers from the likes of Poland, Japan and Russia.

The fair takes place from 10am to 4pm and entry is free.
