Christmas Lights Switch-On in Kingswood, Bristol
Posted on: 23 Nov 2015On Saturday 28 November 2015, Kings Chase Shopping Centre in Kingswood, Bristol hosts a day of festive fun and cheer culminating with the switching on of the Christmas lights.
From 3-6pm a Christmas carnival will entertain the assembled crowds and there's always the opportunity to browse the shops or get a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants - there are plenty of great places to eat within two minutes of the shopping centre. Father Christmas will also be there in his grotto to greet the younger visitors! The whole event is free and welcomes visitors of all ages.
Following the festivities, the lights will be switched on at 6pm. Flipping the switch will be DJ Downsy of Sam FM - formally Jack FM for those of you who still haven't noticed the change! A great event is guaranteed and the area has excellent parking facilities and bus links so no need to walk miles in the cold!
As you can see from the poster below, there are some excellent events on the cards in the run-up to Christmas. December 21, 22 and 23 will again see Santa in his grotto and he will be joined by some friends!
