Celebrate Record Store Day at Rise in Bristol

Posted on: 20 Apr 2017

The Triangle vinyl emporium is offering a jam-packed programme of live music this Saturday (22nd April) to mark the 10th birthday of Record Store Day, which coincides with the usual host of exclusive releases.

Record Store Day is the annual celebration of the fastest growing form of music, where musos and vinyl-sniffers join to consume a horde of exclusive releases and live performances in their local independent music shops - and is nearing its 10th birthday.

This year’s instalment, which marks a decade of RSD, falls on Saturday, where Rise is leading Bristol’s vinyl revolution. Alongside the exhaustive list of musical releases, the record shop on the Triangle will host performances from a series of top artists.

Heading up the party are the bluesy London quartet Palace (above), with local singer Fenne Lily, Hannah Lou Clark and The Evil Usses all playing live instore. DJs will also be playing throughout the day.

Rise will open at 8am on Saturday, for more information on the event visit the Facebook page. For more about Record Store Day, visit their website.
