Celebrate Empathy’s 16th birthday at The Doghouse in Bristol

Posted on: 11 Apr 2017

Get your feels on at The Doghouse on Saturday (15th April) as respected club night Empathy turns 16, with DJs like Dave Seaman and Steve Parry ensuring that the accompanying knees-up is appropriately memorable.

A lot has changed in this country during the 16 years since Empathy put on their first event. We have seen four different incumbents of 10 Downing Street, Sepp Blatter is no longer in charge of FIFA and The Great British Bake Off has moved to Channel 4.

One seemingly incontrovertible constant in this world of flux, however, has been the presence of Empathy across Bristol’s sound-systems. To mark their coming of age, the folks behind the dance institution are throwing the sweetest of sixteens on Saturday night at The Doghouse in central Bristol.

Taking over proceedings are Dave Seaman (above; no, not the ponytailed goalkeeper), Steve Parry and Stuart Wilkinson, who will be spinning the best on house, breaks and techno from 9 until 4.

The Doghouse is one of the best cocktail bars in Bristol, located on St Stephens Street in the centre of the City. It has been created as a cocktail bar for the modern world, unrestricted by themes and trends as they set their own. If you want cocktails and the afforementioned nightlife, this is the venue to head for.
