Catch the FA Cup Action at The Crown, Bristol

Posted on: 08 Feb 2017

The Crown, the pub at the heart of St Nick's, has established itself as the destination of choice for watching the action, with its eight screens ensuring you won't miss a bounce of the ball.

Now that all of the African Cup of Nations has concluded in Gabon, all footballing eyes turn back towards home with the FA Cup dominating the mid-week proceedings. Tomorrow evening, struggling Premier League champions Leicester face Championship side Derby County in a replay of their fourth round tie.

In the first tie at Pride Park, the home side recovered from Darren Bent's embarrassing own goal to draw 2-2, and will relish an opportunity to beat the English champions on their own patch. Kick off is at 7.45pm.

With food served until 9pm and a stellar selection of drinks, The Crown has something to please even the most stubborn soccer nay-sayer. Occupying the same site since 1741, The Crown is a real ale pub and cider house with an edge. This superb venue blends the traditional with the alternative to create one of Bristol’s must-visit locations.
