Call of The Wild Family Drop-In at Watershed on Saturday 18th November 2017

Posted on: 16 Nov 2017

Watershed in Bristol will be holding a special free family drop-in event which will explore the exciting possibilities of arts, crafts and creative technologies on Saturday 18th November 2017.

Held in collaboration with UWE and inspired by the animated Japanese fantasy flick Wolf Children (which will be screening at 2pm), there will be a raft of engaging, fun activities from 10am-12.30am that will include Build-A-Beast and origami tutorials.

Knowle West Media Centre will also be on hand to bring aspects of Wolf Children to life through the artistry of a professional animator. Three half-hour sessions will take place at 10.30am, 11.15am and 12pm which will offer a thrilling insight into exactly how stop-motion animation is created. Spaces for that are limited, so it's advisable to reserve a place quickly.

Wolf Children tells the story of a close-knot half-human, half-wolf family which examines the universal, profound themes of family, choice and nature. Following the film screening there will also be three workshops where you'll be able to plunge yourself into an intoxicating, beguiling magical world.
